To protect the LED use Transil diodes in parallel.
For Acriche LEDs powered by the main AC-Voltage direct, the Transil has to withstand the max AC without becoming active => 265VAC

Calculated the relevant DC voltage 265x√2=~370V.  This 370V is the Transil Vbr.

As we don’t know the energy of the spikes, accordingly you need to protect the LED selecting the right power class of device (400W, 600W, 1500W, 5000W).

But for example you can use at first:

2BZW04-376 in bidirectional version  2BZW04-376B for Axial devices

Or two SMAJ188xx-TR (bidirectional version SMAJ188AC-TR)   in series configuration.

You may lower the voltage a little as there is a resistor in series proposed by Seoul Semiconductor.
