Thin ultra-compact package
Proprietary device and package technologies were utilized to develop the PICOLED© series of thin, ultre-compact (1.0x0.6mm, t=0.2mm) LEDs. High brightness is maintened while reducing wire loop and package height and minimizinf die size. The result is the smallest LED in the industry.

PICOLED-eco not only features reduced volume and mass, but lower energy consumption as well. Brightness is increased 2.7 times compared to conventional LEDs at 1mA, 37% lower power consumption.

ROHM's PICOLED© lineup is available in both single and multi-color configurations. These versatile products can be used to configure high-density dot matrixes (1.5mm/2.0mm pitch) for signage and display applications. Dot Matrix Examples.
