Metal Core Printed Circuit Boards (MCPCBs) are used instead of traditional FR4 or CEM3 PCBs because of their ability to efficiently dissipate heat away from the components. Universal Science manufactures a 45mm circular MCPCB and associated heatsinks for MR16 type applications.

MCPCB and Heatsink include the necessary holes to fit with 50mm triple lenses holder from CARCLO or FRAEN.Three Z Power P4 LEDs are serially connected on a 45mm circular MCPCB.
Silica deliver the whole kit, including your own Bin selection, for the Z Power P4 LEDs.

Heat-sink:

According to the LED driving current used: 350mA, 700mA or 1000mA, the user may select one of the following heat sink dimensions: H = 25 mm, Reference USCHSTARUS2103F25
H = 50 mm, Reference USCHSTARUS2103F50 
H = 75 mm, Reference USCHSTARUS2103F75
